Hanging Out
Noun was playing the Playstation 2. He
told Pronoun to take his place while he went to get some soda.
When Verb was playing, he was performing more action than anyone
else. Adjective kept pointing out how good they were playing.
Adverb was saying that Adjective was irritating when he was doing
the same thing Adjective was doing. Preposition was telling Noun
how to catch up with Verb. Interjection kept over- exaggerating
whenever Noun beat Verb. Conjunction could not play alone. He
always had to play the cooperation levels. Their period of fun
was coming to an end. One by one they filed out of Noun's house.
Now Noun was all by himself, stuck with having to learn his eight
parts of speech.
